Good news
We are almost ready to show you the 0.9 version of the PDF for backers only. This way we can gather some crucial feedback to finish up for the official PDF release and start printing the book.

Danny (our artist) said we needed some art where the player characters were actually on top of things. We said yes, he took that literally.

Hi everybody
We wanted to send out this quick update to let you know we are now really in the final stretch towards finishing the PDF to the Quintessential Guide to Monster Encounters. As a matter of fact, we are working hard towards releasing a backer-only beta (0.9) version of the PDF while we wait for more artwork to come in. We hope to send that your way by the end of this month.

As you can see, some of the art of this book is still in the concept stage. And as you know, it's an important part of any TTRPG book, meaning that we absolutely don't want to rush it in order to get the book out.

The Hag Dragon!

Like we said in our previous update, we decided to include one more monster in the Quintessential Guide to Monster Encounters; The Hag Dragon. This original monster has spawned a lot of interest from the community, and so DungeonDad set out to make a video telling you what it's all about. If you decide to add the Dragon to your campaign, make sure to check out the free downloads under the video.

As the rigorous editing phase unfolds, we made an unexpected decision – to include an astonishing new encounter. Allow us to introduce you to the awe-inspiring Hagg Dragon, a colossal creature poised to absorb the very essence of your life.
The Hagg dragon will come with different stat blocks depending on the level of your party
Our current target is to unveil the initial version of the PDF in October. Following that, we'll actively incorporate valuable feedback from our vibrant community to refine it until it reaches the highest standards for print readiness.

Hi there
I just wanted to check in and show you some new artwork for the Quintessential Guide to Monster Encounters. All the encounters, outside one extra that we tossed in, have been fully written and edited. We are still working hard on the layout and other parts of the book, but it's shaping up to become one hell of a Guide.
